Zada Randall

Services are scheduled at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 15, at Centre Avenue Baptist Church for Zada Randall of Artesia, New Mexico.

Mrs. Randall, 96, died Friday, January 11, 2013 at Heartland Nursing Center in Artesia, New Mexico.

Pastor Kenneth Heck will officiate at the services with burial at Woodbine Cemetery.

Visitation will be at Terpening Son Mortuary Monday from 15 p.m.

Zada was born October 29, 1916 in Oklahoma the daughter of Luther Fields and Mollie White Fields. She came to Artesia in 1956 from Texas. She was married to W.A. Randall. He has preceded her in death. She was also preceded in death by her parents, four siblings, son Willie W. Randall, soninlaw Virgil Simmons.

Zada was a cafeteria worker both as a server and a cook for the Artesia School District. She was a member of Centre Ave. Baptist Church, and the Artesia Senior Citizens Center.

Survivors include her son George Randall and wife Phyllis of Vernon, Texas daughters Vertie Simmons of Artesia, and Molly Simmons and husband Osburn of Artesia 9 grandchildren several great and greatgreat grandchildren and brother Luther Fields of Vernon.
