Yvonne Osborn

Graveside services are scheduled at 10:00 A.M. Thursday, May 19, at Woodbine Cemetery for Yvonne Osborn, Hays, Kansas. Mrs. Osborn, 81 died Monday, May 16, 2005 at Wheatland Nursing Rehab Center in Russell, Kansas. Rev. Robbie Boyd will officiate at the services. Mrs. Osborn was born January 10, 1924 in Carter County, Oklahoma; the daughter of John A. Sales and Ella Morrison Sales. In 1949 she was married to Ralph Hughes in Oklahoma. He preceded her in death in 1974. She came to Artesia in 1963 from Hobbs until moving to Kansas a few years ago. In 1992 she then married Buddy Osborn in Artesia. He preceded her in death Oct. 05, 1999. She was an owner and operator of Hughes Hot Oil Service, and The General Store both of Loco Hills. She was preceded in death by her parents, four brothers, and three sisters. Survivors include daughters Suzy Weilert and husband Tim of Hays, Kansas, and Jacquetta Wier of Atlanta, Georgia; grandson Michael Hughes of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma; and great-grandson Devin Hughes of Germany.
