Wymon Baker

No services are scheduled for Wymon Lee Baker, 1312 S. 1st St., Artesia, New Mexico. Mr. Baker, 60, died Friday, November 2, 2007 at his home. Cremation has taken place under the direction of Terpening Son Mortuary. Mr. Baker was born March 16, 1947 in Artesia, New Mexico; the son of William L. Baker and Retta S. Boykin Baker. He returned to Artesia in 2006 from San Bernardino, Calif. He was a Truck driver and instructor and member of Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. He was preceded in death by his parents and a sister Wilma Jean Baker. Survivors include step-mother LaVerne Baker and family of LaVern, California; cousins Pat Scrimshire and husband Gary and family of Artesia, and Carol Pennington and family of Artesia; an uncle James Briscoe and wife Vange of Novato, California.
