Graveside services are scheduled for Saturday, January 28, at 11:00 a.m. at the Lower Hope Cemetery for William "Billy" Workman of Tularosa, NM.
Mr. Workman, 41, passed away on January 23, 2017 at his home.
Rose White will officiate at the services. Pallbearers are Chris Ocanas, Jake Ocanas, Matt Hoage, Michael Hooper, Craig Mineart, Doug Mineart and Bryan Hoage. Friends and family will meet at the Hope Community Center by 10:30 a.m. on Saturday to proceed to the cemetery together.
Billy was born on March 19, 1975 in Fairfield, Iowa; the son of William Douglas Workman Sr. and Linda Hoage. He was a driver for the United States Postal Service. He was a member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles and enjoyed helping with the F.F.A. kids. Billy loved his animals and would rescue any animals in need. He also loved working on cars.
He was preceded in death by his father, his dad Jimmy L. Madron, brother Randy L. Madron, and beloved grandparents Joe and Joan Mineart.
Survivors include his mother Linda Madron of Mayhill, NM; step-mother Donna Hartman of Fairfield, IA; brothers Curtis Workman of Fairfield, IA and Michael Hooper of Hobbs, NM; aunts Deb Hoage of Buckley WA and Kelly Workman of Fairfield, IA; uncles Craig Mineart of Pleasant Plain, IA, Doug Mineart of Allen, TX and Richard Workman of Fairfield, IA; and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and lots of friends.
