William B. "Jim" Hardimon was born February 20, 1940 in Henrietta, Oklahoma to Benjamin F. Hardimon and Gladys Odell Hardimon. He passed away in Lubbock, Texas on February 19, 2017.
He was married to Lola F. Williams Hardimon on April 2, 1987 in Las Vegas, Nevada. Jim served in the United States Navy for 30 years. He worked for various pipeline companies but his passion was working as a diesel mechanic in Southeast New Mexico.
He was preceded in death by his parents, his brother Floyd and sister Ann. He is survived by his wife of the family home; sisters Betty Wolcott of Canton, TX, Molly Hardimon of Farmington, NM, Joyce Bell and husband Billy of Antlers, OK, and Connie Muskopf of Roswell, NM; sister-in-law Sue Brown of Artesia; sons Michael Hardimon and wife Julie of Wilmington, MA, and Charlie Williams and wife Beth of Artesia; daughter Becci Hendrix and husband John of Denton, TX; 8 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held at a later date.
