William Haldeman

Services are scheduled at 2:00 P.M. Monday, December 20, at St. Pauls Episcopal Church for William Vance Haldeman, Artesia, New Mexico. Mr. Haldeman, 82, died Saturday, December 18, 2004 at his home. Fr. Herb Robbins will officiate at the services. Pallbearers will be Brandon Campanella, Tony Campanella, Roger Haldeman, Malcolm Haldeman, Cory Haldeman and Dennis Tidwell. Interment services are scheduled at 10:00 A.M. Monday, January 10, at Woodbine Cemetery with Rev. Rick Sullivan officiating. Mr. Haldeman was born November 14, 1922 in White Plains, Missouri; the son of William Todd Haldeman and Vernie Campbell Haldeman. A lifelong Artesia resident, he was a farmer and member of First Baptist Church, the Elks Lodge, and the Eagles. He was preceded in death by his parents and by a sister Vivian Tidwell. Survivors include sons Vance Malcolm Haldeman of Artesia, and Roger Kent Haldeman of Artesia; daughters Cynthia Phillips of Artesia, and Ellen Marian Skylark of Concord, Calif.; brothers Vernon Haldeman of Artesia, and Victor Haldeman of Artesia; and grandchildren Austin and Ashley Phillips, Cory Haldeman, and Griffin Skylark.
