William Lloyd Everett, 65, was called to his eternal resting place on January 24, 2024. He was greeted by his parents Patricia & Austin Everett as well as many family and friends. He was a beloved Spouse, Son and Son-In-Law as well as a friend to many.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, Jan 27 . at Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, 2515 W. Hermosa Drive. From noon to 2 pm. It will be a celebration of Lloyd's life with family, friends & co-workers. Casual and come & go.
He entered this world on January 25, 1958 in Bishop's Stortford, England, born to Ernest Austin and Patricia Everett. He is survived by his spouse Cindy Everett, his In-Laws Joyce & Trent Jeffrey and his aunt Barbara Clark in England. He traveled to the USA on a military transport with Patricia at the age of 3 months. He attended Artesia High School and college in Odessa, TX.
He loved life and had a quirky sense of humor that he shared with all. He could be seen flying his remote controlled plane or drone and other outdoor activities. He was a mentor to some and an example to others. He worked many years in the grocery business at Safeway and then Furr's. He then went to work for Eddy County Detention Center as a transport officer and finally to Artesia Police Dept as a CSO - Community Service Officer.
