William Dickerson, Jr.

No services are scheduled for William Leslie Bill Dickerson, Jr., 3200 Mission Arch, Roswell, New Mexico. Mr. Dickerson, 75, died Monday, October 28, 2002 at Mission Arch Care Center in Roswell. Cremation has take place under direction of Terpening Son Mortuary. Mr. Dickerson was born July 24, 1927 in Oklahoma; the son of William Leslie Dickerson and Edith Jackson Dickerson. He served his country in the United States Navy during World War II. He worked as a truck driver before his retirement. Mr. Dickerson was preceded in death by a sister Shelah Brown Survivors include a son Randy Dickerson of Artesia, N.M.; a step-daughter Pat Sanderson of Hobbs, N.M.; a sister Yvonne Smith of Amarillo, Texas; grandchildren Stephen Dickerson of Amarillo and Sandra Brown of Lubbock, Texas; a great-grandson Layton Brown of Lubbock; two step-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. Memorial contributions may be made to Mission Arch Care Center - 3200 Mission Arch - Roswell, NM 88201; or to the charity of choice.
