Wayne Hill

Graveside services are scheduled at 2:00 p.m. Friday, November 16, at Woodbine Cemetery for Wayne Edward Hill of Hope, New Mexico.

Mr. Hill, 79, died Tuesday, November 13, 2012 at his home.

Wayne was born September 24, 1933 in Peru, Kansas the son of Harold Edward Hill and Vivian Lucille James Hill.

Wayne served his country in the United States Army during the Korean Conflict. He came to Hope and the Artesia area in 1994 from Truth or Consequences, New Mexico.

He was a Director of Facilities for Bureau of Indian Affairs and a member of V.F.W. in T or C.

Wayne was preceded in death by his parents brother Richard D. Hill and a son Wayne E. Hill, II.

Survivors include his sons Robert Hill and wife Shana of Tucson, AZ, and Patrick Hill and wife Brenda of Truth of Consequences grandchildren Sierra Hill and Taylor Hill sister Jan Walker of Artesia.
