Wayne Durham

Graveside services are scheduled at 10 a.m. Thursday, Feb. 2, at Woodbine Cemetery for Wayne Durham, 2001 W. Runyan Ave., Artesia, New Mexico.

Mr. Durham, 74, died Monday, January 30, 2012 in Lubbock, Texas.

Walt Isaacs will officiate at the services. Honorary pallbearers will be Ken Slater, Ricardo Rodriquez, Don Suggs, Virgil Johnson, Sonny Hope and Jimmy Scott.

Wayne was born March 3, 1937 in Levelland, Texas the son of Leonard Durham and Nellie McCloud Durham. He came to Artesia in lifelong resident.

On Aug. 26, 1958 he was married to Jean Kendrick in Artesia.

He was a maintenance supervisor for AMAX Chemical.and a member of West Main Baptist Church.

Preceded in death by his parents.

Survivors include his wife Jean Durham of Artesia son Michael Durham and wife Marie of Artesia daughters Lynda Walker and husband Darrell of Lubbock, Texas, and Laura Letourneau of Artesia brother Bob Durham of Bend, Oregon 7 grandchildren Brett Ramsey, Heather Allen, Ashley Durham, Chance Allen, David Durham, Marissa Walker, and Nathan Letourneau and 3 greatgrandchildren.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Baptist Childrens Home in Portales, N.M.
