Wayne Bratcher

Memorial services are scheduled at 2:00 p.m. Friday, Jan. 20, at Terpening Son Chapel for Wayne Bratcher, 508 Penasco Rd, Hope, New Mexico.

Mr. Bratcher, 66, died Monday, January 16, 2012 at his home.

Don Johnston will officiate at the services. Cremation has taken place under the direction of Terpening Son Mortuary.

Wayne was born May 22, 1945 in Silver City, New Mexico the son of Clyde Jewel Bratcher and Madeline Blythe Engle Bratcher.

He came to Artesia in 1948 from Texas.

He served in the United States Army.

He was a truck driver in the oil field.

He was preceded in death by his parents, a sister Marilyn White, a brother Ray Bratcher.

Survivors include a son Bryan Bratcher of Carlsbad, N.M. daughters Michelle Bratcher of Henderson, Texas, and Kellie Bratcher of Artesia brothers Clyde Bratcher of Midland, Texas, and Bob Bratcher of Artesia sister Rose Crenshaw of Artesia 8 grandchildren and 5 greatgrandchildren.
