Interment services are scheduled at 1:00 p.m. Monday, Jan. 3, at Woodbine Cemetery for Wayne Bedingfield, 307 McArthur Avenue, Artesia, New Mexico. A memorial service will follow at 2 p.m. at Trinity Temple Assembly of God.
Mr. Bedingfield, 75, died Thursday, December 30, 2010 at The Retirement Ranch in Clovis, New Mexico.
Pastor Bobby Argo will officiate at the services.
Mr. Bedingfield was born August 20, 1935 in Buena Vista, Texas the son of J.E. Bedingfield and Beatrice Harlow Bedingfield.
On Sept. 28, 1980 he was married to Barbara Havens in Pinon, New Mexico. He was a longtime resident of Artesia.
He was a Chaplain at Artesia Good Samaritan and was the past owner and operator of Artesia Lock and Key. He was a member of Trinity Temple Assembly of God.
Survivors include his wife Barbara Bedingfield of Artesia son Curtis Bedingfield of Queen, N.M. daughters Cindy Bedingfield of Homer, Alaska, and Della Garlitz of Clovis stepsons Mike Harrison of Artesia, and Kim Harrison of Artesia stepdaughter Debbie Chavez of Artesia brother John Bedingfield of Artesia sister Beca Standard of Carlsbad, N.M. 16 grandchildren and numerous greatgrandchildren.
