Wanda Lewis

Graveside services are scheduled at 2:00 P.M. Saturday, September 13 at Twin Oaks Memorial Park for Wanda Lewis, Artesia Good Samaritan Center, Artesia, New Mexico. Wayne Bedingfield will officiate at the services. Mrs. Lewis, 73, died Friday, September 12, 2003 at the Good Samaritan Center. She was born April 2, 1930 in Marlow, Oklahoma; the daughter of Bill M. Lewis and Emma A Fanning Lewis. She came to Artesia in 1952 from Spiro, Oklahoma. She was disabled and a member of Baptist denomination. Wanda was preceded in death by her parents and by a brother James Lewis. Survivors include sisters Betty Hatch and husband Don of Roswell, N.M. and Bessie Major and husband Don of Artesia; a sister-in-law Bessie Lewis of Artesia; and numerous nieces and nephews. The family suggests that memorial contributions be made to the Artesia Good Samaritan Center at 1402 Gilchrist, Artesia, N.M. 88210
