Wanda Ezell

Graveside services are scheduled at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, September 19, at Woodbine Cemetery for Wanda Louise Ezell, 201 W. Washington Ave., Artesia, New Mexico. PMrs. Ezell, 73, died Sunday, September 16, 2007 at Artesia Good Samaritan Center. PRev. J. B. Craft will officiate at the services. Pallbearers will be Kenny Arroyos, Richard Sandoval, Bronson Rue, Ray Ezell, Randy Ingram, and Thomas Ezell. Visitation at Terpening amp; Son Mortuary will begin at 10:00 a.m. Tuesday. PWanda was born October 8, 1933 in Paris, Texas; the daughter of Delbert Ingram and Daisy White Ingram. She came to New Mexico at the age of 7 and lived in and around the Elk, N.M. and Artesia areas. POn Nov. 10, 1950 she was married to Johnny L. Ezell in Carlsbad, N.M. They remained in the Artesia area. PShe was a school bus driver for many years and managed a school bus line for about 24 years. She was a member of the Baptist denomination and was very strong in her faith; a member of the Artesia Hospital Auxiliary; and had been a Girl Scout leader. PWanda was preceded in death by her parents; and by two sisters and five brothers.
Survivors include her husband of 57 years, Johnny Ezell of the family home; daughters Wilma Arroyos and husband Kenny of Las Cruces, N.M. and Linda Moreno of Artesia; grandchildren April Rue and husband Bronson of Ruidoso, N.M. and Richard Sandoval of Roswell, N.M.; and three great-grandchildren.
