Wanda Clarke

A memorial service is scheduled for 2 p.m. Friday, Jan. 18, at First Baptist Church for Wanda Champion Clarke of Artesia. Clarke, 65, passed away Monday, Jan. 14, 2008. The Rev. Tom Gunn will officiate the service. Visitation will be held from 5 to 7 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 17, at the home of Margie Champion, 1701 Northgate Place. Clarke was preceeded in death by her parents, Thomas R. and Mary R. Allen, sister Suzie L. Allen and brother Jerry D. Allen. Survivors include two daughters, Elizabeth A. Champion-Heistermann and her husband, Matt, of Brock, Texas, grandaughters Danielle Champion and Mallory Heistermann; Lauri L. Coffee and her husband, Kelly, of Brock, Texas, grandsons Cody Champion and Chase Coffee; one son, Jedd Q. Champion, of Artesia; grandsons, Quinton and Jeremiah Champion; and a brother, Thomas R. Allen Jr. of Grand Prairie, Texas.
