Services are scheduled at 10:00 A.M. Monday, June 10 at West Main Baptist Church for William Oswald Dub Crosson, 1307 Cannon Ave., Artesia, New Mexico. Mr. Crosson, 76, died Friday, June 7, 2002 at Artesia Good Samaritan Center. Rev. J. Mark Robinson will officiate at the services with burial at Twin Oaks Memorial Park. Pallbearers will be Dan Koger, Vance Riggs, Jimmy Hamilton, Chava Flores, Randy Crouch, Ray Taylor, Bill Fletcher, Harvey Howard and Wayne Durham. Honorary pallbearers will be Johnny Ellis, I. J. Bizzell, Randall Ruddick, Johnny Stewart, A. K. Miller and Senior Adults at West Main Baptist Chruch. Mr. Crosson was born May 15, 1926 in Old Glory, Texas; the son of Henry C. Crosson and Etta Douggan Crosson. He served in the United States Navy during World War II. On May 28, 1949 he was married to Joyce Black in Lovington, N.M. They came to Artesia in 1959 from Grants, N.M. He was a retired Shift Supervisor at Navajo Refining Company and member of West Main Baptist Church. Mr. Crosson was preceded in death by his parents; and by four sisters and two brothers. Survivors include his wife Joyce Crosson of the family home; two sons Timothy Ed Crosson and wife Ira of Ruidoso, N.M. and Jimmy Dean Crosson of Portales, N.M.; a daughter Kim Collard and husband Felix of Silver City, N.M.; a sister Mozelle Wilson of Gustine, Texas; grandchildren Christon DeWolf, Kacey Crosson, Zack Crosson and Jaime Nichole Crosson all of Alamogordo, N.M., Kristopher ODell Massey and wife Tamie of Animas, N.M., Kandice Michelle Massey of Cliff, N.M. and Hannah Dean Crosson of Portales, N.M.; and great-grandchildren Jocelyn Paige Massey of Animas and Lanie Nichole Crosson of Alamogordo.
