Virginia Reza

Services are scheduled at 9:30 A.M. Thursday, April 10 at Our Lady of Grace Catholic Church for Virginia Martinez Reza, Artesia, New Mexico. Mrs. Reza, 44, died Tuesday, April 8, 2003 in Artesia. Burial will be at Twin Oaks Memorial Park. Pallbearers will be Robert Martinez, Jesus Martinez, Jr., Jacob Martinez, Tony Garcia, Eli Herrera, and James Herrera. Honorary pallbearers will be Juan Carlos Martinez, Jeremiah Martinez, Anthony Martinez, Orlando Cabezuela, Leobardo Cardona, Jr., and Michael Martinez. A Rosary service is also planned for 6:30 P.M. Wednesday at Our Lady of Grace. Mrs. Reza was born May 10, 1958 in Artesia; the daughter of Jesus P. Martinez and Paula Herrera Martinez. A lifelong Artesia resident, she was a housewife and member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. Mrs. Reza was preceded in death by her mother. Survivors include her father Jesus P. Martinez of Artesia; a son Jacob Loredo of Artesia; a daughter Veronica Rodriquez of Artesia; brothers Robert Martinez of Artesia and Jesus Martinez, Jr. and wife Sylvia of Artesia; sisters Mary Cardona and husband Leobardo of Levelland, Texas, Rosa Martinez of Carlsbad, N.M., and Dora Terrones and husband Luis of Carlsbad; grandchildren Juan Carlos Martinez and Yesenia Paula Martinez both of Artesia; and numerous nieces and nephews.
