Virginia Davis

Private family Graveside Services are scheduled at 1:30 PM Tuesday, Nov. 25, at Twin Oaks Memorial park for Virginia Davis of Midland, TX.

Mrs. Davis, 80, died Saturday, November 22, 2014 at Legacy Ranch in Midland.

Visitation will on Monday, Nov. 24 at Terpening Son Mortuary from 6:00 8:00 p.m.

Virginia was born August 24, 1934 in Hearne, TX the daughter of Thomas Jefferson Alexander and Cassie Bridgewater Alexander. She lived most of her adult life in Artesia.

On March 18, 1955 she was married to Jimmy Davis in Carslbad, NM. She was a homemaker.

She was preceded in death by her parents, sisters Doris Warren, Marie Barnes and Winnie Ricci, and brothers Lynn Alexander, Glenn Alexander, Grady Alexander and Nathan Alexander.

Survivors include her husband Jimmy Davis of Midland, TX sons Jimmy Davis Jr. and wife Kim of Midland, TX and Michael Davis and wife Rhonda of Glencoe, NM grandchildren Jenny Davis, Lindsey Jones, Lance Davis, Joey Davis and Matt Davis greatgrandchildren Carrie Davis, Jude Young and EJ Davis sisters Jean Shirley of Dallas, TX and Tootsie Hobbs of Brady, TX brother David Alexander of Tremonton, UT and numerous nieces and nephews.
