Vinita Webb

Services are scheduled at 10:00 AM Thursday, April 3, at Terpening Son Chapel for Vinita Webb, 1608 Bullock Ave., Artesia, New Mexico. Mrs. Webb, 70, died Monday, March 31, 2003 at Artesia General Hospital. Rev. J. Mark Robinson will officiate at the services. Burial will be at Prairie Haven Cemetery in Hobbs, NM at 2:00 PM Thursday. Pallbearers will be Alan Bloomer, Bobby Cosper, Jim Collins, Trenton Guthrie, Robert Boans, and Homer Scrimshire. Mrs. Webb was born October 18, 1932 in Velma, Oklahoma; the daughter of Claude Graham and Beulah DeShields Graham. On Jan. 8,1949 she was married to R.L. Webb in Okmulgee, OK. She came to Artesia in 1952 from Oklahoma, moved to Hobbs in 1974, and returned to Artesia in 2000. He preceded her in death Oct. 6,1998. She was a homemaker and member of West Main Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her father. Survivors include her mother Beulah Graham of Hobbs; son Rodney Webb of Artesia; daughter Janet Bloomer of Roswell, NM; brother Sonny Graham of Eugene, Oregon; grandchildren Brenda Cosper of Artesia, Lisa Davis of Alamogordo, NM, and Sue Webb of Las Cruces, NM; great-grandchildren Dustin and Heath Cosper of Artesia. Preceded in death by her father.
