Services are scheduled for 10 am Monday, October 4, at Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints for Victor F. Madrid of Houston, Texas.
Mr. Madrid, 61, died September 23, 2021 in Tomball, Texas.
Burial will be at Woodbine Cemetery.
Victor was born on November 8, 1959 in Ojinaga, Chihuahua, Mexico; the son of Nazario Madrid and Magdalena Fernandez Madrid. He was a longtime resident of Artesia.
He was married to Rose Fuentes on December 21, 1978 in Roswell, New Mexico.
He was a district trainer for NexTier Completion Solutions in the oil field. He also worked for 37 years with one company who transitioned from Western to BJ Services to Baker Hughes. He loved time with his grandkids, traveling and hunting. He enjoyed trying new foods, especially when traveling to different countries. He loved coaching his kids in soccer, softball and basketball.
Pallbearers will be Daniel Madrid, Roger Martinez, Herman Martinez, Miguel Martinez, Adrian Martinez and Raul Rodriguez.
He is survived by his wife Rose Madrid; parents Nazario and Magdalena Madrid; sons Victor Madrid spouse Dolores, Eric Madrid, and Lawrence Madrid spouse Maria; a daughter Priscilla Lafferry spouse Kevin; grandchildren Ramona, Angelica, Caroline, Roselyn, Lawrence, Penelope, Shanna, Calab, Kaden and Victoria; great-grandchildren Briana and Adrian; a brother Daniel Madrid; sisters Maria Martinez, Dominga Barrientos, and Martha Kalas.
