Valentin Palomares III

March 7, 1997 — July 5, 2023

The following obituary is lovingly written by his father, Valentin Salcido Palomares, mother, Susan Elaine Lewis Palomares and his wife Haylee Love Palomares.

Loving Father, Devoted Husband, Beloved Son, Compassionate Brother, Genuine Friend....

These are a few of the many great qualities that begin to describe the amazing young man that family and friends knew as: Valentin "Val" Lewis Palomares III.

Valentin Lewis Palomares III, 26, of 403 West Shelton, passed away on July 5th, 2023.

Valentin was born on March 7, 1997, to Susan Elaine Lewis Palomares and Valentin Salcido Palomares Jr.

After receiving his GED, he ventured into the world with his best friend and future wife, Haylee Love. They settled in Albuquerque where he attended CNM and searched out local artists that would eventually lead him to write and perform his music. Eventually, Val and Haylee's relationship blossomed into the sacred bond of marriage. As his life was about to shift to family status, they made the decision to move back to his hometown where his children could enjoy the love and closeness he knew growing up.

In a few short years, his little family grew to include his son, Valentin Armani Palomares IV, and daughter Gianna Ann Palomares.

Val's hard work ethic and determination to grow led him through his work ventures that progressed within mechanically inclined positions that would add to his skillset, experience and knowledge that would end with him as a railcar mechanic for UTLX. He enjoyed doing his work especially when working with his best friend Tyler.

He endured many hardships in life, but he pushed through to be rewarded with his wife's embrace, his son's smile and his daughter's embrace. He loved spending every minute of his free time taking his family camping through the numerous campgrounds within New Mexico and Colorado. He loved to fish and go dove hunting, especially with his dad and little brother Zeke.

He was a mentor and inspiration to his younger brother Jamey and his cousins Darian, Canaan, Noah and Mateo. They will miss their hero, but they will step up to inspire the younger siblings the way they know he would.

These few words do not define or express the kind heart, gentle soul, beautiful person, and strongest man his father has known.

He will always be remembered by those who befriended him, especially by his family.

His survived by his wife Haylee Love Palomares, son Valentin Armani Palomares, daughter Gianna Palomares, mother, Susan Elaine Lewis Palomares, father, Valentin Salcido Palomares Jr., brothers Joshua James and Ezekiel "Zeke" Palomares, sisters Alexia Elaine and Chloe Esperanza Palomares, mother-in-law Marsha Love, grandmothers Connie Jo Lewis and Adelina Cortez Salcido, grandfather, Valentin Casarez Palomares, and numerous aunt, uncles, cousins, and extended family friends and family.

Pallbearers are Joshua James Palomares, Darian Mahan, Canaan Mahan, Diego Huerta, Jacory Rodriguez, Noah McNeil, Tyler Beard, Mateo Flores, Arturo "Tootie" McNeil, Valentin Palomares Jr, and Esperanaz Palomares.
