Memorial services are scheduled at 10 a.m. Monday, March 25, at Terpening Son Chapel for Troy B. Gill of Seminole, Texas.
Mr. Gill, 65, died Sunday, March 17, 2013 at Odyssey Hospice in Lubbock, Texas.
Don Johnston will officiate at the services. Cremation is under direction of Terpening Son Mortuary. Honorary pallbearers will be Henry Siemens, Frank Reimer, Chris Shupp, WO King, Albert Reyna, and Jim Jorren.
Troy was born October 19, 1947 in Artesia, New Mexico the son of Richard L. Gill and Evelyn E. Gill Garner. He was a longtime Artesia resident until moving to Seminole in 1996.
Troy worked as a construction maintenance man, and most recently as a truck driver for Midwest Truck Center in Seminole. He was a member of First United Methodist Church and the Moose Lodge.
He was preceded in death by his parents brother James H. Gill grandparents Troy and Olive Rogers grandfather Roy B. Gill grandmother Billie Gill Stover uncle Bill Gill and a nephew Timothy.
Survivors include his stepdaughters Susan D. Reyna and husband Al of Ft. Walton Beach Florida, Lee Ann Gill Sanchez of Seminole, and Cara Jorren Peterson and husband Elwyn of Artesia sister Mary A. Gill King and husband WO of Cypress, Texas Aunt Maxine Gill of Artesia lifelong friend Nancy Jorren of Artesia sisterinlaw Patricia Gill of Chaparral, New Mexico 9 grandchildren 10 greatgrandchildren 3 nieces and 2 nephews.
Family and friends will be gathering at 2010 W. Sears following the memorial service.
