Tommy Sparrow

Graveside services are scheduled at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, January 3, at Woodbine Cemetery for Tommy Sparrow, Artesia, New Mexico. Rev. Rick Sullivan will officiate at the services. PTommy, age 19, died Thursday, December 29, 2005 in Artesia. PHe was born July 20, 1986 in Roswell, New Mexico; the son of Thomas W. Sparrow and Donna R. Major Sparrow. PA lifelong Artesia resident, he worked as a roustabout in the oil field and was a member of First Baptist Church.
Survivors include his father Tom Sparrow of Artesia; his mother and step-father Donna and David Houston of Artesia; a brother Conner Houston of Artesia; a sister Lidnsay Sparrow of Artesia; grandparents Don and Bessie Major of Artesia, Jim Sparrow of Las Cruces, N.M., and Betty and R.E. Houston of Lamesa, Texas; a great-grandmother Dutch Ferriman of Artesia; and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.
