Tom was born November 16, 1957 in Pittsburg, Kansas the son of Harold E. Malone and Birdie J. Briles Malone. In 1988 he found his way to Artesia where God blessed him with his wife Becky Martinez. On June 2, 1990 they were married in Artesia.
Pastor Tom was a steadfast man of God who served the community as well as many foreign countries with the Bethany Faith Outreach Ministry in memory of his sweet daughter Bethany who passed away at the age of 4. Through the outreach program, he was able to minister and share Gods great love to those that may never have heard it before. His travels took him around the world including Africa, Panama, Belize, Haiti, Paraguay, and his beloved Mexico.
A smile was a permanent fixture on Pastor Toms face, a Dr. Pepper always quenched his thirst, and the love of God always filled his heart. His love for God was something to admire and become inspired by. One of his favorite verses was Mathew 6:1921 Do not store up for yourselves treasures from Earth..for where your treasure is, there your heart will be also. His Earthly treasures were his family, his ministry and his favorite orange truck. Now his Heavenly treasures abound for the faithful and good works he did for Christ.
Tom was preceded in death by his daughter Bethany Faith Malone and his father Harold Malone.
Survivors include his wife Rebecca Becky Malone of the family home mother Birdie Malone of Liberal, Missouri son Oscar Reyes and wife Ashley of Lubbock, Texas daughters Tamra Reyes of Artesia, and Micaela Malone of Waxhachie, Texas brothers Harold Malone, Jr. and wife Charlotte of Liberal, Missouri, and Timothy Malone and wife Loretta of Hepler, Kansas grandchildren Noah and Josiah Bedard, and Kaydence and Aria Reyes. He is also survived by a loving extended family.
Pastor Toms legacy will be the love he shared of Christ Jesus and spreading His word because just as Jesus did he loved all the little children of the world.
