Thed Dodson

Services are scheduled at 2:00 P.M. Monday, July 31, at Trinity Temple Assembly of God for Thed E. Dodson, of Allen, Texas. PMr. Dodson, 85, died Wednesday, July 26, 2006 at his home. PPastor Bobby Argo will officiate at the services with burial at Woodbine Cemetery. Visitation will be at Terpening amp; Son Mortuary Sunday beginning at 2:00 p.m. PMr. Dodson was born September 25, 1920 in Timbo, Arkansas; the son of Robert Dodson and Martha Hood Dodson. PHe served in the United States Army during WW II. POn Jan. 14, 1947 he was married to Marcella Rogers in Okemah, Oklahoma. He came to Artesia in 1962 from Loco Hills, New Mexico. She preceded him in death April, 28, 1998. He was also preceded in death by his parents, two brothers, and four sisters. PHe worked as a Pumper for Texaco and was a member of Trinity Temple Assembly of God.
Survivors include his daughter Elizabeth Nance of Allen, Texas; son Roger T. Dodson and his wife Lynda of Farmington, N.M.; two grandchildren Lydia Nance and Clayton Nance both of Allen; and two great-grandchildren Nathan and Lauren Nance of Allen.
