Taniz Villarreal

Services are scheduled at 9:30 a.m. Tuesday, March 9, at Our Lady of Grace Catholic Church in Artesia, N.M. for Estanizlada Villarreal, Rt.4 Box 5381, Seminole, Texas.

Ms. Villarreal, 90, died Friday, March 5, 2010 at her home.

Burial will be at Woodbine Cemetery. Pallbearers will be grandsons Gilbert Almager, Joe Venegas, Joel Gomez, Julian Gomez, Jr., Larry Rodriguez, Jr., and Johnny Gomez. Honorary pallbearers will be granddaughters Silvia AlmagerHernandez and Ana Cruz Ramharak.

A rosary is also scheduled for 6:30 p.m. Monday at Our Lady of Grace Church. Visitation will be at Terpening Son Mortuary beginning at 10 a.m. Monday.

Ms. Villarreal was born August 30, 1919 in Gonzalez, Texas the daughter of Pedro Villarreal and Refugia Davila Villarreal.

She came to Artesia in 1945 from Las Cruces, New Mexico.

She was a housewife and member of Our Lady of Grace Catholic Church in Artesia

She was preceded in death by her parents, a son Tim Almager and a
daughter Eulalia Almager, 3 brothers Raul Ramirez, Victor Bueno and Lupe Villarreal, and 2 sisters Maximina Ramirez and Lily Orosco, and a grandson Richard Almager.

Survivors include sons Eulogio Almager and wife Martha of Albuquerque, N.M., Larry Rodriguez and wife Mary of Artesia, and Fred Cruz and wife Delfa of Artesia daughters Ruth Venegas and husband Jose of Seminole, and Jane Gomez and husband Julian of Seminole brother David Ramirez of Artesia sister Jova Reyes of Las Cruces numerous grandchildren, greatgrandchildren and greatgreatgrandchildren.
