Susie Corona

Services are scheduled at 10:00 a.m. Friday, July 27, at the Spanish Assembly of God for Susie J. Corona, 410 J.J. Clark Drive, Artesia, New Mexico. Mrs. Corona, 68, died Monday, July 23, 2007 at Artesia General Hospital. Carlos Davila will officiate at the services with burial at Woodbine Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Cloud Corona, Derrick Bustos, Christian Nielsen, and James Weimer. Visitation will be at Terpening Son Mortuary Thursday beginning at 10:00 a.m. Mrs. Corona was born January 29, 1939 in Artesia; the daughter of Harvey Juarez, Sr. and Tomisita Mesa Juarez. On July 16, 1960 she was married to Agustin Corona in Artesia. She was a lifelong resident and a homemaker. She was also a member of the Spanish Assembly of God. Susie was preceded in death by her parents; son Enrique J. Corona; brother Johnny Juarez; and sister Ruby Juarez. Survivors include her husband Agustin Corona of the family home; daughter Rachel Bustos and husband Richard of Las Cruces, N.M.; son Augustine Corona and wife Liza of Artesia; brother Harvey Juarez, Jr. of San Antonio, Texas; grandchildren Cloud Corona, Gabriella Corona, Micah Corona, Zechariah Corona, Derrick Bustos, Rosanna Weimer, Joseph Weimer, James Weimer, Christian Nielsen, and Marisol Medina.
