Sue Gonzales-Powell

Memorial services are scheduled at 1:00 p.m. Saturday, July 19, at Trinity Temple Assembly for Sue Ann GonzalesPowell of Artesia, New Mexico.

Mrs. Powell, 51, died Sunday, July 13, 2014 at Artesia General Hospital Emergency Room.

Bobby Argo will officiate at the services with burial of the cremated remains at Woodbine Cemetery. Cremation has taken place under the direction of Terpening Son.

Susie was born October 18, 1962 in Artesia, New Mexico the daughter of Porfirio Gonzales and Socorro Carrera Telles. She was a lifelong Artesia resident.

She was a homemaker and a member of Trinity Temple Assembly. Susie loved to listen to christian music.

She was preceded in death by her grandparents, 2 uncles, and 2 cousins.

Survivors include her parents Porfirio Gonzales, Jr. of Artesia, and Socorro Telles of Artesia sister Debbi Garcia and husband Dennis of Artesia brother Porfirio Sonny Gonzales, III and wife Shelly of Artesia nieces and nephews Sonny Gonzales, Samantha Gonzales, Devyn and Denzyl Garcia, Erica Olguin, and Geno Gonzales.
