Sue Dodd

Services for Sue are scheduled at 10:00 a.m., Saturday, December 10th, 2016 at Hermosa Church of Christ. Doug Austin will officiate the services with burial to follow at Woodbine Cemetery.

Visitation will be Friday, December 9th from 2:00 - 8:00 p.m. at Terpening & Son Mortuary.

Sue passed away on Wednesday, December 7th, 2016.

She will be remembered as a beloved wife, mother, grandma, great-grandmother, and friend. She was an excellent cook, homemaker, and enjoyed preparing meals for her family and friends, topped off with the perfect glass of tea. Over the years she collected a large assortment of rabbits, she even had several painted into a scene on a picture in a guest bedroom. She also loved to hit the Casino's when she was not playing games on her Ipad.

Sue was born on December 29, 1945 in Colorado City, Texas.

On January 12, 1968 she married the love of her life, Jerry Dodd in El Paso, Texas.

She was preceded in death by her parents, William and Dean Rodgers and granddaughter Lauren Landavazo.

Sue is survived by her husband, Jerry of the family home, daughters Mitzi McCaleb and husband Eric of Artesia, Bianka Landavazo and husband Vern of Wichita Falls, Texas. Son, Darin Dodd and wife Cheridy of McKinney, Texas. She is also survived by six grandchildren, Chance Scarborough and wife Morgan, Jordan Landavazo and wife Christian, Brian McCaleb, Austin, Braedin and Carson Dodd. She has two great grandchildren, Mayci and Casen Scarborough.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions to be made to the Portales Christian Children's Home, 1356 NM236, Portales, NM 88130.
