Steven Brady

Services are scheduled at 2:00 P.M. Thursday, June 27, at West Main Baptist Church for Steven Glen Brady, 805 Carper Drive, Artesia, New Mexico. Mr. Brady, 51, died Monday, June 24, 2002 at his home 805 Carper Dr. in Artesia. Pastor Dan Sanders of Pagosa Springs, Colorado, and Rev. Mark Robinson will officiate at the services with burial at Woodbine Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Ray Brady, Jay Brady, Bert Brady, Mike Brady, Ron Brady, and Don Brady. Honorary pallbearers will be all other nephews and nieces. Mr. Brady was born February 28, 1951 in Hagerman, New Mexico; the son of William Harrison Brady and Ocie Mae Howell Brady. On November 29, 1969, he was married to Ann Bradshaw in Juarez, Mexico. He was an Artesia resident until 1980; he lived in Odessa, Texas from 1980 to 1996; lived in Pagosa Springs from 1996 to 2001 and returned to Artesia in November of 2001. He was a supervisor for Phillips Petroleum. He attended West Main Baptist Church. He actively worked with 4-H clubs, Odessa Riding Club, Mesquite Team Penners, AQHA, and the Sandhills Rodeo Association. He was preceded in death by parents, and a Brother, Jim Brady. Survivors include wife Ann Brady of the family home; daughters Tammy Heard and husband Darren of Lubbock, Texas, Glenna Turner and husband John of Las Vegas, Nevada, Amanda Brady of Artesia; brothers Morgan Brady and wife Glenna of Kingman, Arizona, Will Brady and wife Darlene of Midland, Texas, Robert Brady and wife Louise of Kennewick, Wash., Marion Pete Brady and wife Patty of lgnacio, Colo., Bill Brady and wife Coy of Roswell, NM, John Brady and wife Gail of Roswell; sisters Ellen Dolinger of Bristol, Virginia, Lela Spear and husband Ed of Roswell, Barbara Wells and husband Charles of Nashville, Tenn. Kathy Hatch and husband Robert of Roswell; grandchildren Joshua Brady, Kyla and Krista Armstrong, and Brianna Heard all of Lubbock; numerous aunts and uncles, nieces and nephews including children of Jim and Kelsey Brady Tammi Phillips, Terri Fish, Ray Brady, Jay Brady, Bert Brady and their families; and a host of friends.
