Stephen Giles

Services are scheduled at 2:00 P.M. Monday, November 1, at Terpening Son Chapel for Stephen Michael Giles, Artesia, New Mexico. Mr. Giles, 54, died Thursday, October 28, 2004 at his home. Rev. Rick Sullivan will officiate at the services with burial at Woodbine Cemetery. Visitation at Terpening Son Mortuary will begin at 2 p.m. Sunday. Mr. Giles was born January 14, 1950 in West Palm Beach, Florida; the son of O. N. Giles and Mary Emily Gaylord Giles. He came to Artesia in 1950 from Florida and returned to Artesia in 2003. He was a professional landscaper and realtor; and was a member of the Baptist denomination. Survivors include his parents Nick and Mary Giles of Artesia; a daughter Stephanie Giles of Houston, Texas; brothers Lonnie Giles of Artesia, and Tommy Giles and wife Zeneth of Artesia; two granddaughters; a nephew Sid Giles and wife Jennifer of Artesia; and nieces Ali, Tristen, Shelby, and Maggie Giles all of Artesia. He was preceded in death by a niece Stephanie Lynn Giles.
