Services are scheduled at 2:00 P.M. Friday, January 14, at West Main Baptist Church for Stanley Lee Lindsay, 212 Bullock Ave., Artesia, New Mexico. Mr. Lindsay, 48, died Wednesday, January 12, 2005 at Eastern New Mexico Medical Center in Roswell, New Mexico. Rev. Jason Craft will officiate at the services with burial at Woodbine Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Nick Kelley, Royce Pearson, Murnie Cauhape, Chuck Morgan, Fred Dodd, Daniel Haldeman, Micha Foster, and John Neel. Mr. Lindsay was born January 13, 1956 in Artesia; the son of Leland Dermont Lindsay and Mary I. King Lindsay. On Sept. 27, 1996 he was married to June Massey in Artesia. He moved to Louisiana in 1997 and returned to Artesia in 2003. He served in the Army and in the National Guard. He owned and operated Clearview Glass and was an Oil Field Consultant. He was a member of the 1974 undefeated State Champion Football Team, enjoyed hunting, fishing and outdoors. He was preceded in death by his father in 1990 and by his grandmother Mildred Miller in 2003 Survivors include his wife June Lindsay of the family home; daughters Megan Lindsay of Edgewood, N.M., and Ginger Kelley and husband Nick of Artesia; sister Debra Whittington of Tucumcari, N.M.; grandchildren Alexis Ryan of Edgewood, and Karrington K.K. Kelley of Artesia.
