Shirley Hamilton

Graveside services are scheduled at 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, December 9, at Woodbine Cemetery for Shirley Ann Hamilton of Artesia, New Mexico.

Mrs. Hamilton, 80, died Thursday, December 4, 2014 at her home.

Rev. Rick Smith will officiate at the services.

Shirley was born December 4, 1934 in Memphis, Tennessee the daughter of Willie N. White and Gladys Forrest White. She came to Artesia and married Billy Hamilton in 1956.

She was a homemaker and a member of Calvary Baptist Church. Shirley loved spending time with her children, grandchildren, and family and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents son Steve Zeller and sisters Norma Bowen, and Mary Barnes.

Survivors include her husband Billy Hamilton of the family home daughters Teresa Smith and husband Scott of Ranson, West Virginia, Lisa Ostiguy of Artesia, Chris Deuker and husband Don of Fresno, California, and Dixie Zeller of Denver, Colorado sons Todd Zeller of Colorado, Billy Hamilton, Jr. of Artesia, and John Hamilton of Artesia 7 grandchildren a greatgrandson brother Dunnie White of Cleveland, Tennessee, Richard White of Cleveland, and Charles White of Artesia and a sister Dorothy Phillips of Kenner, Louisianna.
