Shawn Apperson

Services are scheduled for 10 am Monday, July 31 at Terpening & Son Mortuary for Shawn Douglas Apperson of Artesia, New Mexico.

Mr. Apperson, 30, died on July 22, 2023 at his home in Artesia.

Richie Crockett will officiate at the services. Honorary pallbearers will be Cody Bussey, Matthew Bain, Jeff Parra, Jakota Mathews, Justin Harlow and Sal Rubio.

Shawn was born on April 20, 1993 in Carlsbad, New Mexico; the son of Ricky Apperson and Christy Bethel Apperson.

He was a longtime resident of Artesia. He enjoyed hunting rabbits, shooting guns, listening to music, and most of all he loved playing games with his brother and hanging out at the house with his friends.

He is survived by his parents and a brother Brian Dale Apperson.
