Shanery Lewis

Graveside services are scheduled at 10:30 A.M. Saturday, June 8 at Woodbine Cemetery in Artesia, N.M. for Shanery Kay Lewis of El Paso, Texas. Mrs. Lewis, 34, died Sunday, June 2, 2002 at her home. Her father, Evangelist Leslie Hendrix, Sr. will officiate at the services. Shanery was born June 20, 1967 in Artesia, New Mexico; the daughter of Leslie Hendrix, Sr. and Frances McKee Hendrix. On July 5, 2001 she was married to Shane Lewis in Artesia. She was a lifelong Artesia resident and was a homemaker. Shanery was preceded in death by her grandparents. Survivors include her husband Shane Lewis of the family home; her parents Leslie and Frances Hendrix of Artesia; a son David Hendrix of Artesia; daughters Kayla Rutledge of El Paso and Shannell Faultner of Bowie, Texas; a brother Troy Hendrix, Jr. of Roswell, N.M.; sisters Francee Lewis of Killeen, Texas, Shakanyah Hendrix of Hope, N.M. and Elisa Hendrix of Artesia; and numerous aunts, unlces, nieces and nephews
