Secundino Perez

Funeral Services are scheduled for 9:30 a.m., Friday, December 2nd at Our Lady of Grace Catholic Church for Secundino C. Perez of Artesia, New Mexico.

Mr. Perez, 60, died Monday, November 28, 2016 at his home.

Fr. Francis Lazer will officiate at the services with burial to follow at Woodbine Cemetery. A rosary will be Friday at 9:00 a.m. at Our Lady of Grace. Pallbearers will be Richard Cardenas, Richard Ray Cardenas, Hector Ochoa, Lalo Alvarado, Ricky Alvarado, Freddie "Boo Boo" Chavarria and Raymond Jimenez. Honorary Pallbearers are Congo Friends.

Secundino was born on May 5, 1956 in Artesia to Manuel Perez and Juanita (Calderon) Perez. He was a lifelong Artesia resident.

He worked as a maintenance man at the refinery and was a member of Our Lady of Grace Catholic Church. He had a passion for Bulldog Football and the Philadelphia Eagles. His love was his family.

Secundino was preceded in death by his parents; brother Jimmy Perez; and a sister Rosita Perez.

He is survived by his daughter Dina Arroyo of Artesia; sons Rodney R. Perez and Dino Perez, Jr. both of Artesia; sisters Sylvia Vasquez and husband Tony of Artesia, and Catalina Garcia and husband Fidel of Bovina, Texas; brothers Henry Perez and wife Ofelia and Michael Perez all of Artesia; and grandchildren Damion, Audrey, and Azuriah Perez and Tavian Arroyo.
