Saren Quiroz

Services are scheduled at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, August 12, at Hermosa Church of Christ for Saren Renell Quiroz of Lake Arthur New Mexico.

Mrs. Quiroz, 56, died Thursday, August 7, 2014 at Covenant Specialty Hospital in Lubbock, Texas.

Doug Rodney will officiate at the services with burial at Avis Cemetery in Weed, N.M. Pallbearers will be Kelby Quiroz, Marcos Quiroz, Kelly Munson, Justin Munson, Cody Munson, and Ben Snow.

Saren was born October 2, 1957 in Artesia, New Mexico the daughter of Alton M. Munson and Rena Faye James Munson. She was a lifelong Artesia resident.

On May 27, 1991 she was married to Joe Quiroz in Artesia.

She was a Registered Nurse and a member of Hermosa Church of Christ. Saren loved to do arts, crafts, and scrapbooking, and had quite a collection of purses.

She was preceded in death by her father and grandparents.

Survivors include her husband Joe Quiroz of the family home mother Rena Faye Munson of Artesia daughters Bibiana Quiroz of Artesia, and Sarena Joy Quiroz of Artesia sons Johnny Quintero of Phoenix, Arizona, Marcos Quiroz of Artesia, and Kelby Quiroz of Artesia and her brother Alton Munson and wife Wanda of Hagerman, N.M.
