Sarahy Fierro

Services are scheduled at 9:30 a.m. Saturday, July 30 at Our Lady of Grace Catholic Church for Sarahy Fierro of Lake Arthur, New Mexico.

Mrs. Fierro, 28, died Monday, July 25, 2011 at U.N.M. Hospital in Albuquerque, New Mexico.

Fr. Paul Murtagh SS.CC. will officiate at the services with burial at Woodbine Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Angel Fierro, Gabriel Fierro, Ernesto Rodriguez, Daniel Miranda, Juan Muniz, and Ever Tarrango. Honorary pallbearers will be her coworkers from U.S.Postal Service.

Visitation will be at Our Lady of Grace Catholic church Friday beginning at 2:00 p.m. A rosary will be at the church Friday at 6:30 p.m.

Sarahy was born March 13, 1983 in Tyler, Texas the daughter of Marcos Saenz and Eduvijes Balderrama Saenz. She came to Artesia in 1990 from Texas.

On July 1, 2000 she was married to Diego Fierro in Roswell, N.M.

She was a Mail Carrier and a member of the Spanish Assembly of God.

Sarahy was preceded in death by her grandfather Sabas Saenz.

Survivors include her husband Diego Fierro of the family home sons Diego Israel Fierro, Cesar Fierro, and Damian Fierro all of Lake Arthur parents Marcos and Eduvijes Saenz of Lake Arthur her inlaws Angel and Diana Fierro of Lake Arthur grandparents Carmelo Balderrama, Amparo Balderrama, and Socorro Saenz all of Chihuahua, Mexico sisters Claudia Saenz of Hagerman, N.M., Mayra Rodriguez and Jeanette Saenz both of Lake Arthur.
