Sara Galindo

Memorial services are scheduled for 10:00 AM, Monday, October 21, at Hermosa Church of Christ for Sara S. Galindo of Artesia, New Mexico.

Mrs. Galindo, 48, died October 15, 2019 at University Medical Center in Lubbock, TX.

Mr. Garrett Castleberry will officiate at the services. Cremation will take place under the direction of Terpening & Son Mortuary. Honorary pallbearers will be Orlando Baeza, David Baeza, John Baeza, Jr., Chris Galindo, Albert Galindo, Danny Galindo, Jr., and her nieces and nephews.

Sara was born March 30, 1971 in Artesia, the daughter of Frank Saiz and Agripina (Ontiveros) Saiz.

On July 3, 1986 she was married to Larry Galindo in Artesia. They were longtime Artesia residents.

Sara was a homemaker and a member of Hermosa Church of Christ. She enjoyed fishing, deer hunting,camping, and listening to music all day on Sundays. Her love in life was spending time with her family and grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her father and grandparents.

Sara is survived by her husband Larry of the family home; daughter Shannon Galindo and fiance Mark Utley of Artesia; sons Larry Galindo, Jr. of Artesia, Christopher Galinso and wife Veronica of Texas, and John Baeza and wife Eloisa "Shorty" of Artesia; mother Agripina Saiz of Artesia; brothers Henry Saiz and Ernie Saiz bot of Texas; sister Ida Lake and husband Richard of Odessa, Texas; 12 grandchildren; and a host of nephews and nieces.
