Sandy Fallis

Memorial services are scheduled at 7:00 p.m. Saturday, August 26, at Central Park for Sandra Lou Fallis, W. Clayton Ave., Artesia, New Mexico. Ms. Fallis, 60, died Wednesday, August 16, 2006 in Artesia. Peggy White will officiate at the services with burial of the cremated remains at Woodbine Cemetery. Cremation is under the direction of Terpening Son Mortuary. No visitation is planned. Sandy was born January 20, 1946 in Artesia; the daughter of Charles D. Ransbarger and Bette Lou Burner Ransbarger. She moved back to Artesia in 2004 from California where she was working on her PHD at Fuller University. She was a homemaker and was a member of Cornerstone Fellowship. She was preceded in death by her father and her husband Jack. Survivors include her mother Bette Ransbarger of Artesia; daughters Maggie Schulman and husband Andy of El Cajon, Calif., Amanda Fallis of San Diego, Calif., Elizabeth Mason and husband Chris of Las Cruces, N.M., Rachel Fallis of Las Cruces, and Mitzi Johnson of Artesia; sons Stephen Fallis and wife Ellyce of Carlsbad, N.M., Jesse Fallis of Las Cruces, and Brian DeVore and wife Amy of Portland, Oregon; sisters Norlene Shell and husband Don of Artesia, and Mary Housley of Rhode Island; brothers David Ransbarger and wife Rachel of Albuquerque, N.M., Jerry Ransbarger of Cloudcroft, N.M., Kevin Ransbarger of New Jersey, and Craig Ransbarger of San Diego; grandchildren Sam and Haili Fallis both of Artesia, Ben Schulman of El Cajon, and Megan and Justin DeVore both of Portland; and numerous nieces and nephews.
