Sandra was born November 1, 1942 in Sacramento CA, the daughter of Robert Neagle and Doris (McHam) Neagle.
Sandra better know to others as "Granny", "Grandma Sandra", or "GranGran" was a grandmother to many. She was a homemaker, babysitter, and seamstress. She loved all her babysitting kids just like her own and kept up with their activities even after they were in high school. She was an avid baseball fan. She enjoyed watching all her boys play baseball in the rain, snow and sunshine. She watched many cheerleading competitions and softball games for her girls. She loved teaching Sunday School, VBS, and Mission Friends at her church. She loved her church family and worked in the kitchen with many meals for the church. She loved to sew and make and alter clothes for others. She loved getting the calls to help others with cooking recipes, questions about homework, or just advice. She helped many of the people in her family with getting their degrees from various colleges. She helped decorated classrooms at Central before each school year and always wanted to see pictures of the students faces when they saw the room for the first time. Time spent with family and friends was cherished. She is now dancing in the streets of gold with loved ones that preceded her to their home in heaven. We can only imagine the celebration that is happening on this day.
She is preceeded in death by her husband Bill McCarrell; parents Robert and Doris Neagle; brother Doyle Neagle.
Survivors include her daughter Shonda Poe of Artesia, New Mexico; son Cory McCarrell and wife Martha, of Prosper, Texas; grandsons Lance Pacheco and Kellen Pacheco of Artesia, New Mexico; grandson Easton McCarrell and granddaughter Haegan McCarrell of Prosper, Texas; great-grandchildren Daelon Pacheco, Destin Pacheco, Arian Pacheco and Kaydence Pacheco of Artesia, New Mexico; sister-in-law Gayla Neagle of Lovington, New Mexico, neice Robyn Bunch of Midland, Texas; nephews Rickey Neagle of Lovington, New Mexico and Patrick McCarrell of Flower Mound, Texas.
