Samuel Morales

Services are scheduled for 10 am Wednesday, April 20, at St. Anthony's Catholic Church for Samuel Morales of Artesia, New Mexico.

Mr. Morales, 53, died on April 12, 2022 in Roswell, New Mexico.

Fr. Frances Lazar will officiate at the services. Burial will follow at Woodbine Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Jayvon Reza, Alejo Cortez, Salvador Gurrola, Sandro Reza, Steven Orosco, Sergio Luevano, Lorenzo Morales.

Visitation will be at Terpening & Son Mortuary from 2 to 6 pm on Tuesday.

Samuel was born on September 15, 1968 in Dumas, Texas; the son of Arnold Morales and Rachel Madrigal Morales.

Sammy liked hunting, golfing and going to the lake. He loved his sports team Miami Dolphins and LA Lakers. Sammy was very involved at the Moose lodge and was an active member for many years. He cherished and loved the family that he made there.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Survivors include his son Ray Morales; daughters Karena Reza and Geneva Montano; a brother Manuel Morales; sisters Linda Aguilar and Amia Morales; grandchildren Larissa Orosco, Jayvon Reza, Amunique Reza, and Neveah Montano.
