Salvatore Marino

Services are scheduled at 10:15 a.m. Monday, Oct. 31, at Immaculate Conception Parish in Spotswood, N.J. for Salvatore Michael Marino. Interment will be at Holy Cross Cemetery in East Brunswick, N.J.

Mr. Marino, 83, died Tuesday, October 25, 2011 at Lakeview Christian Home in Carlsbad, New Mexico.

Salvatore was born October 11, 1928 in Brooklyn, New York the son of Joseph Marino and Caterina Facella Marino. His parents preceded in death as well as a brother Michael Marino and sisters Ann and Rose.

On Sept. 21, 1951 he was married to Catherine DiFede in Brooklyn, New York. They moved to Artesia in March after residing in Montana and Arkansas.

He was a mechanical engineer and held many patents. He was a member of Saint Rafael Church in Springdale, Arkansas and was an avid golfer.

Survivors include his wife Catherine Marino of Artesia sons Joseph Marino and wife Roseann of Artesia, Stephen Marino of Warren, N.J., and Robert Marino and wife Julie of Louisville, Kentucky a sister Theresa Docherty of Red Hook, N.Y. eight grandchildren and two greatgrandchildren.

Services are under the direction of Brunswick Memorial Funeral Home in East Brunswick.
