Salomon Franco

Salomon R. Franco, 53, of Artesia, New Mexico, passed away on Saturday, February 4, 2024 at his home. He was born in Artesia, NM on June 26, 1970, son of the late Willie Sr. and Lorenza Franco, and preceded also by our beloved brother Willie Franco Jr.

He is survived by his daughter, Samantha Vargas, his grandchildren Raelyn Gray, Kyrie Gray, and Micah Perez.  He is also survived by his 5 siblings, Susan Aragon, Sophy Briseno, Joe and Nancy Franco, Delores and Frank Ramirez, Sonya and Jerry Flores, and numerous nieces and nephews.

Salomon graduated from Artesia High school in 1988. He worked the family business with his brothers and father. He became an expert heavy equipment operator to perfection. His work was well-known throughout the Southwest. 

His favorite football team were the New York Giants. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, target practice, and spending time outdoors with his family and friends.

You will be greatly missed by your Brother Joe and Sisters - We Love You, Brother Sunnie will take good care of Montana!
