It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Ryleigh Dewey, a beloved daughter, sister, and friend, who left us far too soon. Ryleigh was born August 20, 2013 and left us on December 8th, 2024.
Ryleigh lived her life with a radiant smile that could light up any room and a bubbly personality that brought joy to everyone around her despite the many challenges she faced every day. Her strength and resilience were a true testament to God’s love. Ryleigh's journey was not always easy, but she walked into each day with a joyful heart and an enduring spirit. Her happiness was contagious, and her smile brought comfort and joy to those around her. She taught us the true meaning of courage and grace, showing us how to live with purpose and love. We find solace in knowing that Ryleigh is now at peace, embraced by God's eternal love. May her soul rest in eternal peace, and may we find comfort in the promise of resurrection and the hope of reuniting with her one day in God's heavenly kingdom.
Ryleigh is proceeded in death by her grandmother Debra Dewey and brother Rhett Brigance. Ryleigh is survived by her mother Jenni, brothers Kye and Mason, sister Shayne, and Grandfather Tommie Dewey and wife Amy and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Services will be held at First Church Artesia, 402 W. Grand Ave on Saturday, December 14th at 3pm followed by a meal and time of fellowship.
In lieu of flowers the family would like to ask for donations be made to The Kayci Light Foundation in Ryleigh’s name. Donations can be made through First Baptist Church of Artesia’s website.
