Ryan Orona

Memorial service is scheduled for 10:00 a.m. Thursday, September 13, at 310 S. Lincoln St. Dexter, New Mexico for Ryan Matthew Orona of Roswell, N.M.

Mr. Orona, 24, died Saturday in Artesia, N.M.

Michael Silva will officiate at the services. Cremation has taken place under the direction of Terpening & Son Mortuary.

Ryan was born April 1, 1994 in Roswell to Robert Orona, Sr. and Janell (Dean) Archibeque. He was a life long Roswell resident.

Ryan worked as a water transfer-man in the oil fields. He enjoyed hanging out with his friends and participated in many recreational activities such as Hike it and Spike it. His love was his family.

Ryan was preceded in death by his father Robert Orona Sr. and grandmother Dora Orona.

He was survived by his mother Janell Archibeque and husband David of Artesia; girlfriend Deanna Villanueva of Roswell; sister Danielle Taylor and husband Seth of Roswell; brothers Robert, Jacob, and Jordan Orona all of Artesia, and Nick and Chris Archibeque of Roswell; grandparents Edith and John Bilberry of Artesia, and Tony Orona of El Paso, TX; nephews Robbie and Jonah Orona; niece London Orona; numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins and friends that he considered to be family.
