Ryan Baker

Memorial services are scheduled at 3:00 P.M. Friday, December 11, at Westside Church of Christ for Ryan J. Baker of Artesia, New Mexico. Mr. Baker, 27, died Monday, December 7, 2009 in Carlsbad, New Mexico. Chris Mauldin, Rev. Steve Ormord, and Tom Dawson will officiate at the services. Cremation is under direction of Terpening Son Mortuary. Mr. Baker was born September 3, 1982 in Artesia, New Mexico; the son of Sheryl Baker and Connie Mauldin Baker. Ryan was a lifelong resident of Artesia. He attended Valley Christian Church and as a young boy loved to hunt and fish. He was preceded in death by his grandfather Max Baker. Survivors include his parents Sheryl and Connie Baker of Roswell, N.M.; daughter Lexi Marie of Artesia; brother Brian Scott Baker of Hobbs, N.M.; sisters Barbara Kinnibrugh of Roswell, and Becky Baker of Lubbock, Texas; nephews Jeremy Baker, Braxton Baker, and Joel Olivos; nieces Stephanie Baker, Makayla Kinnibrugh, and Haley Kinnibrugh; grandparents Claude and Betty Mauldin of Artesia, and Nell Baker of Artesia; numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.
