Ruth Rogers

No local services are scheduled for Ruth M. Rogers, Hope, New Mexico. Mrs. Rogers, 92, died Wednesday, March 15, 2006 at Lakeview Christian Home in Carlsbad, New Mexico. Cremation has taken place under the direction of Terpening Son Mortuary. Mrs. Rogers was born February 6, 1914 in Artesia, New Mexico; the daughter of Earnest Walter Bowman and Eliza Crawford Bowman. In 1967 she was married to Charles T. Rogers in Tuscon, Arizona. She was a lifelong resident of the Artesia area. He preceded her in death Jan. 8, 1997. She was a housewife and member of Church of Christ in Hope. She was preceded in death by her parents, and son. Survivors include her daughters Audrey Maghan and husband Roger of Riverside, California, LaVerne Wilson and husband Dewey of Hope, and Dee Stewart and husband Bob of Hope; eleven grandchildren; twenty-four great-grandchildren; and thirteen great-great-grandchildren.
