Ruben Perez

Memorial services are scheduled at 2:00 p.m. Monday, April 30, at First Baptist Church for Ruben J. Perez of Artesia, New Mexico.

Mr. Perez, 58, died Saturday, April 28, 2012 at his home.

Rev. Joseph Tillery and Rev. Abelardo Bolanos will officiate at the services. Cremation is under direction of Terpening Son Mortuary.

Ruben was born August 13, 1953 in Artesia, New Mexico the son of Faustino Perez and Natalia Jimenez Perez. He was a lifelong Artesia resident.

On January 27, 1973 he was married to Patsy Gonzales in Artesia.

He was a former member of the Artesia Moose Lodge.

Ruben was preceded in death by his parents, and a sister Oralia Hernandez.

Survivors include his wife Patsy Perez of the family home daughter Michelle Anaya and husband Johnny of Odessa, TX sons Nick Perez and Jayson Perez both of Artesia brothers Faustino Perez Jr. of Midland, Texas, and Ricky Perez of Las Vegas, Nevada sisters Emma Salgado of Artesia, and Yolanda Leyba of Odessa grandchildren Aaron and Matthew Anaya both of Odessa.
