Roxanna Priest

Services are scheduled at 10:00 a.m. Monday, April 3, at Trinity Temple Assembly of God for Roxanna Y. Priest, South 6th St., Artesia, New Mexico. PMrs. Priest, 44, died Wednesday, March 29, 2006 at her home. PPastor Bobby Argo will officiate at the services with burial at Woodbine Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Martin Lopez, Louie Reyes, Angel Gonzalez, Eddie Foreline, Cotton Patton, and Bob Plummer. Visitation will be at Terpening amp; Son Mortuary beginning at 2:00 p.m. Sunday. PMrs. Priest was born October 28, 1961 in Clovis, New Mexico; the daughter of Jake Box and Viola Berry Box. POn June 21, 1980 she was married to Layton Priest in Elida, New Mexico. She came to Artesia in 1993 from Roswell, New Mexico. PShe was a homemaker and a member of Trinity Temple Assembly of God. PShe was preceded in death by her son Jonathan Wesley Priest in 2003. PSurvivors include her husband Layton Priest of the family home; a daughter Starla Priest of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma; her father Jake Box of Clovis; her mother Viola Lockridge of Clovis; a sister Ruth Davis of Clovis; her maternal grandmother Fannie Mae Nuckles of Elida; and a nephew Dustin Davis of Clovis.
